The 1,035-seat Jubilee Theater is host to shows by music and comedy greats as well as one of the city's longest running production shows. The eponymous Jubilee show premiered in July of 1981 with an original price tag of $10 million. With nearly 100 dancers and singers in the cast, the show is a seven-act production featuring original songs, dances and such stage extravaganzas as "The Sinking of the Titanic" (expect to see an exact replica( and "The Destruction of the Temple of Samson" (no shortage of Philistines in this town). The show now features a $3 million opening number with new sets, music, costumes and choreography. A visit to Bally's website reveals that some of the show's headdresses weigh 35 lbs., that there are 325 wigs to be maintained and that the company wears out 1,500 pairs of tights a year. Now if that doesn't make you want to see it. . .There are two shows every day of the week except Friday (when Jubilee is dark) at 7:30pm and 10:30pm. Bally's Box Office is open 9am to 10pm daily. For information or to charge by phone, call 702-967-4567 or 1-800-237-SHOW. -- Ross M. Levine

Great show! Dozens of beautiful showgirls and handsome showguys in gorgeous costumes, everything from classic Vegas showgirl topless sequined outfits by Bob Mackie with those famous headdresses, to skimpy his and hers loincloths, to tuxedos and gowns. The action kept moving with dance numbers and stage sets that told a story, from Samson and Delilah with the temple's destruction, to the onstage sinking of the Titanic. Sexy enough to make me happy, while still showy and classy enough that my mother enjoyed it too. And you can meet some of the cast afterwards in the hotel's nearby dance lounge to personally tell them how much you enjoyed the show, and maybe get your photo taken with them. Very nice people, very good show.

Happygump should leave Happy off his name. This is the epitome of a classic Las Vegas show with the most outstanding costumes (particularly the showgirls), and awesome sets. This show cannot be compared to the Cirque shows. That's like comparing apples and oranges. The Cirgue shows are wonderful but a new breed of Vegas show. Jubilee is, again, the ultimate Las Vegas show. New production numbers have replaced two of the old ones. The show continues to get better.

FANTASTIC!!!!! The best show in town. The posting from Happygrump247 must have confused this show with the Folies Bergere - that one is horrible. Jubilee has it all. It is one classy act. I plan on going everytime I am in town.
