Adult film comes to life in John Stagliano's adaptation of 'The Fashionistas,' which has been called by some the Strip's sexiest show. Based on one of the pornographer's most successful videos ever (taking top awards at 2003's Adult Video News Awards), it's the story of a fashion designer on a hunt for a new line who gets lured into the world of underground S&M clubs. Stagliano generally avoids hard-core S&M here, though, in lieu of "stylized fetish fashion," in his own words. The show uses music and dance to tell the story, with no singing or dialogue. Cast members appear not only on stage but also above the crowd and on platforms throughout the venue.
