Country music fans finally have an answer to the Hard Rock Cafe. I Love This Bar & Grill is the vision of country music star Toby Keith and is located inside the promenade at Harrah's Hotel and Casino. The down-home country theme is evident throughout the expansive 17,000 square foot venue, with country music memorabilia hanging from its walls, a guitar-shaped bar that fills the middle of the restaurant and live country music always playing in the background. The bar isn't serving moonshine, but you still might be knocked back by of Southern specialties like their Who's Your Daddy margarita and the delightful-sounding Toadsuck Pond. The restaurant's unique menu features many of Keith's southern specialties, taken directly from menus of some of his favorite restaurants in Norman and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Fried bologna sandwiches, pulled pork and barbecue beef ribs are just some of the starring attractions. Sides include backyard favorites like cole slaw, potato salad and baked beans. Dessert choices range from sweet potato pecan pie with bourbon ice cream, to a warm slice of chocolate bread pudding.

Amazing

I really do love this bar!!! My four girl friends & I (in our early 20s) went there and were treated like stars! The guy bartenders are super cute and super sweet. Make sure to get up to the bar when they play "I love this bar" for the free shot they pour down your throats. Next time I'm in Vegas, that is my 1st stop!

Treated Poorly
By brooklynborn2 on 12/03/2007
3 of us rolled in close to closing time just as the band was finishing up...who knew that any bars in Vegas closed at 2AM? Not us. Ordered our drinks and shots of Red Bull & Vodka. Shots came unchilled, we asked the bartender to chill them for us and she replied in a very unfriendly manner that the bar was closing soon and the ice machine was shut down, besides the Red Bull is cold.....this was 30 seconds after my ice filled cocktail arrived. We were rushed to finish our drinks, given our tab of $48.00 for 1 cocktail, 2 beers and 3 warm shots and ignored as the bar was wiped down around us. We left singing "I Hate This Bar" and left no tip. We've never been treated so rudely....even if it was close to closing time, we were still paying customers out having a great time and should have been treated better. Won't go back.

Disappointed
By sroxb26653 on 11/16/2007
I had read so much about this bar and was really looking forward to spending time there. We arrived around 9.30, there was a great band on stage but the place was not busy at all and was very brightly lit. We took a seat at the bar and waited to be served. We waited around 10 minutes without anyone approaching us, so we decided to move tables to get something to eat.........the restaurant was closed. We never did get anything to drink or eat, and were really disappointed. We headed off to one of the Duelling Piano's on the strip which was so much better. Hope they can sort this out by the next time we visit.
