Rate and Write a Review The curators at the Las Vegas Natural History Museum have an uphill battle on their hands. In most any other city, their tank of sharks in the Marine Life Room would be the only attraction of its kind, but in Vegas, there are already two indoor shark tanks on the Strip. Maybe the museum ought to add blackjack tables and a buffet to even the playing field. Until that happens, this is still a fun place to visit with kids, who enjoy the interactive displays in the Young Scientist Center, the live flora and fauna in the Wild Nevada Room and impressive displays of taxidermy on a menagerie of creatures, including lions and giraffes. Most of all, they love the five life-size audioanimatronic dinosaurs. These creatures alone are worth the visit, at least until Jurassic Park opens its own Strip resort. -- David Hofstede
