Palace Station Hotel & Casino   

rooms are nice....

we've stayed at the palace station 2 years in a row and have been pleased with the clean and comfortable rooms at reasonable prices, their huge casino and very good restaurants. We like that it is not right in the strip, as we always rent a car, that is not important to us. we'll probably stay there again next time

Stayed there Feb '01 in a Garden Room, and it was AWFUL. It smelled, and was still a loooong walk from the car and to the casino. I saw hookers in the hallway - Gross. The casino itself was okay and the buffet was decent, and the pool area was fairly large and serviceable, and offered year-round outdoor jacuzzis. I've heard the tower rooms are nice, but I would never, EVER stay in a Garden Room again. PS. I have pretty low standards, so for me to say these things about the Garden Rooms, it MUST be bad. Motel 6 rooms are much nicer and more convenient.

I was there in 01 a surcharge for electricity whats up with that?
