Thunder From Down Under Showroom, Excalibur   

Its a versatile showroom that can accommodate a crew of buff Aussie hunks and portly comic Louis Anderson all in the same night. If the wardrobe from those two shows ever got mixed up, the results could be dreadful to behold. The Thunder From Down Under Showroom offers little charm of its own 500 or so seats pointed toward a small, elevated rectangular stage but well-choreographed lighting and smoke effects cover up the blemishes. And if the seats arent very comfortable, most of the ladies in the Thunder audience never notice, as theyre usually up on their feet from the first number. David Hofstede
