No matter how many times we've eaten here, we always enjoy the show at Benihana -- a knife- wielding chef working his magic on our table's own personal teppan grill. At breakneck pace, he chops veggies, whips the tails off dozens of shrimps and makes an odd sort of music while flipping the salt and pepper shakers about. Never mind that the menu hasn't changed much in years; the place still serves up its famous hibachi chicken, steak and shrimp with a refreshing salad (the tart ginger dressing is memorable), a bowl of tofu-laced miso soup, followed by mounds of bean sprouts, julienned zucchini, onions and rice (fried or steamed) all timed to hit your plate at just the right moment. Before you know it, the chef is bowing his goodbyes (usually to a round of applause) and it's time to indulge in a palate- cleansing scoop of green tea ice cream and a steaming cup of tea. If that isn't a dinner show, we don't know what is.

I enjoyed the show because the chef was so friendly and funny however if you are looking for an entire elaborate steak meal Craft Steak at MGM may be better suited for you.

Went here in Aug 2002 w/ group of 12. Food was excellent. Not one complaint. The Chef Show was hilarious - ask for the chef with the best jokes, they can all do the volcano thing with the onion equally well. It's become an annual favorite on our LV trip.
