When the MGM Grand pool is open, so is the Cabana Grill, which offers casual poolside dining amidst lovely views of the lush landscaping and bikini or speedo-clad sun-worshippers. Since you're supposed to wait 30 minutes between eating and swimming, the Grill specializes in lighter fare -- fruits, yogurt, breakfast pastries and salads. But you dont have to swim to eat there, and for those content to remain ashore, this colorful caf also serves brick-oven pizzas topped with sausage, pepperoni and mushrooms, half-pound burgers with fries, chicken fingers and specialty sandwiches. When its hot outside, nothing says refreshment like one of their frozen fruit bars or some Haagen Dazs ice cream (but watch it if you plan to climb into one of those bikinis or speedos yourself). -- David Hofstede
