Pure Masa
The people who claim the tamales are good don't know what real tamales are. The ones I got were pure dough. Pure masa. Remember that old Wendy's commercial? Well, it applies here, too -- WHERE'S THE BEEF????

Went here after reading these reviews- was so disappointed in the food- the waiter and the run down look of the place!
I wouldn't send anyone to have what I would call "Frozen mexican entree" thrown on a plate and then a rude waiter pass it on to you
tamales
I am a fanatic when it comes to tamales and Dona Maria is by far the best tamales I have tasted. Just like my family used to make come Christmas time when I was just a little nino.
TAKE OUT
I WAS VERY DISAPOINTED IN THE DOZEN I ORDERED TO TAKE OUT. SEVERAL OF THEM WERE JUST PLAIN BREAD, NO MEAT. SUGGEST YOU ORDER THE MEAT TAMALES WHEN YOU ORDER YOUR DOZEN OF MIXED TO GO.
