The SceneDebuting in June 1990, this colorful castle spawned a number of '90s-era theme resorts. It is still a fun-filled place whose medieval architecture and decor are popular with family travelers. The white, storybook-like fortress comes complete with a moat, drawbridge and fire-breathing dragon. The atmosphere is meant to transport guests back to the days of King Arthur and gets help from the Round Table Buffet and the Tournament of Kings, a spectacular production featuring jousting knights and a feast. The DetailsDecorated in warm tones, the 3,990 rooms feature black-out curtains and full-size showers and vanities. Plush Jacuzzi Suites and Parlor Suites are fit for royalty. The "Thunder From Down Under" show draws adoring women (gentlemen are also welcome). The sprawling property's pool area features two heated swimming pools, a 16-seat spa, waterfalls, water slides and a shaded dining area. The Steakhouse at Camelot and Sir Galahad's prime rib room are legendary.

It was a great place to stay the week at . The customer service ,rooms , cleaniness , of this casino is an overall great value for the great prices they offer. Of all the places I have stayed in Las Vegas, the Excalibur has provided the most entertainment for the dollar. The restaurants are all great, and the Tournament of Kings show is the best. I stay at the Rio and Harrah's and the Mirage for what they can offer. They are all great places, but Excalibur always makes me feel at home. Location right on the corner of Tropicana and the Strip is really convenient.

Save your money! Go elsewhere

I had a very bad experience at Excalibur. There was hair in the shower, blood splatters on the bathroom mirror, food under the bed, dirty sheets, and small ants in our room. It took 3 hours to get moved to the room across the hall. The same room that a plate of food sat outside of ,on the floor, for the first 2 days we were there. And of course, the bed sheets were dirty in that room as well! This was my first trip to Vegas - for my 28th birthday at that. I was very very very disappointed. At no point did the hotel even offer to compensate us in any way either.
