Old Vegas Charm
You don't need to rent the DVD "Casino" to experience a taste of "Old Las Vegas" In fact, from the moment you walk into Neros, you expect to see "Sam Rothstien" sipping a martini at the bar. Neros also takes the award for the "Sexiest Hostess in Las Vegas." Once you are greeted by Francoise at the front desk, you will never be the same. Who needs Sharon Stone with Francoise in town! Try and follow Francoise to the table without tripping, and you're a better man than I. Oh, Yea, the steaks are fantastic too. Try the Lollipop Ribeye, the Fois Gras, and the Chimichurry sauce. Unbelievable! Neros is hands down, the best Steakhouse in Las Vegas! With the steaks at Neros, and Francoise at the front door, I'll gladly go back to Caesars again and again to empty my wallet. Now I know why Rome fell!
Wonderful
Still reminiscent of "Old Vegas Style", Neros has been remodled. Chef Sean Griffen has a knack for mixing the old with the new. I truly enjoyed the Escargot, with its bubbling garlic-butter sauce. The crab cakes were moist, and complimented with fresh corn remolaude. The highlight of the meal was the NY steak, the flavor is hard to beat. The list of sides has something for everyone. We enjoyed the ricotta gnocchi, vella jack macaroni and cheese, the classic grilled asparagus. This restaurant was extrememly busy and it did seem the waiters needed less tables, I do not think the service matched the food. But this is a slight complaint compared to the wonderful meal.
.
Nero's 14 oz. prime filet cooked black and blue for my wife and lamb chops for myself were to die for.I highly recommend Nero's
Expensive, but so are all the good things
I thought it was rather nice, expensive but while on vacation, who cares..the food very good, depends on what you like I suppose.
