In ShortDespite a new name and menu, Nobhill Tavern remains a contemporary, upscale restaurant. The "tavern" in the name only reflects the laid-back atmosphere of the restaurant. The menu is four-star quality and Chef Michael Mina incorporates fun items such as whole fried chicken chicken for two with truffle mac & cheese and onion jus among dishes that include lobster Carpaccio, quail ravioli, foie gras, Kobe beef and caviar.

Fabulous

My husband and I are locals and like to try out the Strip restaurants for special occasions. I knew we would like Nob Hill, but didn't know that we would love it. The atmosphere, service and food are all wonderful. The lobster pot pie is to die for, and an off-menu vegan platter that the chef prepared was outstanding. Kudos to all.

By far, the best restaurant I've ever dined at. My wife and I are both chefs in LA and we dined here while on vacation. The food was perfect, and the service was outstanding. Dined there two nights in a row and we can't wait to come back. Dishes that are definate hits are the soft-shell crab app, the foie gras, Lobster pot pie, and the Niman Ranch Pork Chop. Don't forget a dessert also, as the sorbets and ice cream are made daily. Cable car is a great drink also.
