The romantic reputation of Bellagio's remarkable Picasso restaurant received an additional boost from the 2001 film 'Ocean's Eleven.' Table 34, where the characters played by George Clooney and Julia Roberts rekindled their romance, has become a popular tourist request. The culinary artwork of famed chef Julian Serrano vies for attention with $50 million worth of original Picassos on the walls, a collection so impressive that diners routinely wander through the restaurant between courses to view them all. Picasso spent much of his life in Spain and the south of France, and Serrano's cuisine likewise draws inspiration from these regions. Surrender to such delicacies as warm lobster salad with mangoes, langoustine pulled live from a tank, medallions of fallow deer, and sauteed foie gras with Madeira sauce. Squab breast cut into tiny slices and moistened with jus spooned from a tiny copper pot, and truffle-crusted lamb with Parmesan potatoes are also favorites. Two prix fixe menus are offered nightly. Impeccable Service
By bmcc33 on 03/12/2006
I recently ate at Picasso's; it was the experience of a lifetime, forget about the price. The view of the fountains at Bellagio's, beautiful; the original Picasso's, breathtaking; the food, divine; the service, top drawer; all rate even more than 5 stars. I took my nephew there to celebrate his being accepted at medical school and I am sure it is an experience he will never forget. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone who enjoys a top ten dining experience.

Don't be intimidated
By candipluc on 10/27/2004
My husband and I decided to splurge in celebration of our 10th anniversary. When I passed the restaurant during the day and saw the menu, I was a bit skeptical. I walked into Picasso that evening a bit intimidated and suspicious because I thought that the servers would be snobby and that the food would be over the top. Luckily, I was proven wrong. Our server, Robert, was extremely helpful and accomodating and he smiled through the whole meal. We did the degustation menu with the wine tasting and everything was outstanding. Although the portions of each sampling are small, it is really all that you need, because the food is rich. It is very expensive and I am glad that we saved it for a special occassion and I will remember the evening for some time to come. In fact, during the meal, my husband and I commented that it was truly the nicest restaurant that we had ever been to.Too bad we didn't win more at the tables to cover the bill!!
