From the flaming tiki torches dancing outside to the thick cut bamboo shards and Hawaiian art on the reed covered walls, Roy's is at no shortage of color. On a menu that focuses heavily on fish, you can find everything from mango jalapeno BBQ salmon to crispy crab cakes and lemongrass-crusted tiger shrimp. Although some of Roy's "classics" (Hawaiian blackened ahi and roasted macadamia mahi) wiggle to the forefront, turf also exists in the form of short ribs and mesquite-grilled filet mignons. Service is island casual, and you can expect attention from all kinds of staff: from other servers to the guy who scrapes crumbs away from your personal linen space. And any description of Roy's isn't complete without a mention of their only real dessert: the melting hot chocolate souffle containing a gushing chocolate lava torrent that pours out of its crispy walls.

Dinning
By coolck37 on 07/06/2007
This restaraunt is a perfect example of dining, not going out to dinner. We went there for a special celebration and were very pleased with the results. The food was excellent, and I felt the prices were in keeping with the quality of food and service. The bill for 4 of us was $500, but we had a bottle of champaign (Dom), and pre dinner libations.

One of our favorite places
By pokerelvis5 on 06/20/2007
Roy's is one of our favorite places to dine. We've eaten several times here in Vegas, and at Roy's in Kauai and Maui. One thing that bothers me though is they removed the Lobster Bisque from their menu, and it was the best lobster Bisque in town by far. Please please please put it back on!!! Try the sampler meal, 3 different fish entrees, all delicious.

We just recently returned from Kauia and ate at Roy's. A friend told me there was a Roy's here in Las Vegas and if the food is as excellent here as it was in Hawaii, it is well worth it to dine there. I am anxious to try Roy's here in LV.
