Veteran Vegas visitors know the hotel coffee shop drill -- a room the size of a football field, bright lighting to keep customers awake at 3AM, loud carpeting, oversized booths, breakfast served 'round the clock, and a copious selection of lunch and dinner specials. The Excalibur's Sherwood Forest adds little to the formula, except for some bargain-priced breakfast specials such as ham and eggs with hash browns and toast, and coffee cups that are filled quickly by fleet servers. But the casino-level location next to the front desk, coupled with the popularity of the Excalibur among guests with children, signifies that this is the last place in town to expect a quiet meal. -- David Hofstede

Price and food good. Like buffets that self serve everything - drinks, meat, sushi, whatever. Don't like to ask or be given. Buffet means freedom from having to interact and can't be tired/have to be polite, have to go through layers and layers of staff to BE GIVEN your food or have to wait forever for them to come near the table or notice you or get you the wrong things... If you happen to dislike your waiter or server no meal can taste good - you lost the cost of that meal and the restaurant lost that customer.

Huge selection of well prepared food. The hot food is all steaming hot and the salad items are kept cool and crisp. The desert selection is very good and the service is very good. A must stop on each Las Vegas trip.

Where ever you eat in Las Vegas you are swallowing your food with cigaretee smokes from others' lungs, throats, mouths, teeth, gums, tongues, noses, ears, etc. With people everywhere, indoor or out, they should allow smoking only inside one's own house or car with wll windows and doors closed.
