Hi-Way Diner   

Gourmet it ain't, but it ain't spose to be ! It is an industry standard in Lincoln. Great food, service, and just plain down home cookin ! I love the place, clutter and all. It has a great 'people' attitude.

The place is not dirty, just old and could use some new tablecloths and the floor redone. But that has nothing to do with the food there. We have eaten there many times and we are not scum or poor white trash. Some of you probably wouldn't know a good meal if it jumped into your mouth.

They have the best hamburger and fries of Lincoln in my opinion. Definitely worth the price too. Good prices and great food. BUT, if you've never been, then be prepared... the dining room is a little 'gross'. The carpet and seats could definitely use some updating. Very old and torn. But if you can look past that, it's definitely a place to try.

I've been coming here for years....Foods great, I know of no other place in Lincoln where you can sit and eat with a Millionaire or a Bum. Gary Williams proud patron.
