Lily Flanagan's   

One of the best places to come and unwind after a long work week yet diverse enough for a younger crowd to enjoy themselves also. There is something for everyone there. The staff is friendly and accommodating and knows what you drink every time. Lilys has quickly become one of my favorite places to come and relax. Great music, great food, great drinks, and overall just a great time.

This is one of the most discriminatory places I have been to on LI. My Hispanic friends warned me about being turned away for being well dressed and I am a white guy who lives in Babylon Village. I was well dressed, did not come in like a slob or a drunk and I was turned away for wearing sneakers and the place is a pub might I add! My friend who was already there had to leave after I made a scene with the bouncers for being complete idiots. Newsday needs to warn people about this place. The village should be ashamed for letting an establishment act so aggressive to patrons.

The review right before this was for Lilys in Babylon. I haven't been to the one in Islip for football so I have no idea.

During the night, have never been to a place as racist as Lily Flanagan's. I was turned away because I had a t-shirt on...(it was a nice shirt though) friend had a button up shirt in his car, so I went and got it and changed. We go in and I see tons of people with t shirts on, some with shorts on, and even flip flops! I'am hispanic but dress just like the crowd at the pub. Went to the pub once again last night and friend was turned away because they said they had a problem with him last week, my friend got here a couple of days ago, he is just up here visiting from North Carolina. He is hispanic as well but looked more like the gotti type than hispanic so i was surprised, they asked to see his ID before we got to the door guess they just wanted to confirm it wasn't an italian name or something. Just makes me sick been there so many times and never had a problem until recently.
