Mirage   

I STILL MISS MALIBU !!!!!

The place is nice and big but come on, the DJ/the MUSIC have got to GO! I can do a BETTER JOB with my iPOD and MacBook. Mirage, hire me! If you do, I guarantee I will attract ALL races/nationalities. NOT just White. =) If you're white, then you'll love this place. No doubt. But for minorities that ACTUALLY love to dance and are good at it.. You're better off hitting the lounges/clubs in the good ol' NYC. Good music and a more DIVERSE crowd.

I went there this weekend and I wanted to dance to at least one latin song, and the Bouncer stop me from asking the dj and said to me " we dont take request, dont you see there is only WHITE people here!" I will NEVER come here again and I already told all of my friends not to go there and we all live at CW Post.

Mirage is a cool and big club almost like a Manhattan one except it needs to improve. The Djs need to improve on their mixing since there are times they stretch the songs too long which are usually the bad songs! I would say the people who are at the doors are not that friendly where most clubs in Manhattan greet and say goodbye to you. I attended the event in July the so call " Sexy girl in white" contest which is totally fixed!! The girls they chose weren't that hot and I saw other girls that were much better and I don't believe a real "girl" got the prize since this clubs seems to be bias!! I've been to Manhattan clubs that have a wide variety of girls not just Barbie Dolls that have contests that are fair to all forms of beauty! My boyfriend agrees to about Mirage. I recently went Friday and they had this go awful live band which really sucked and the buffet is suppose to be complimentary where I notice this older guy rushing the poor servers and even removing food....why because of this dumb band.
