I also used to be a bartender at Mulcahys and it's true about what they say. The drinks are watered down, the cover fee is insane, and there are NO BUYBACKS. They really do think that they are the only bar on Long Island. On top of that, the bartenders are nasty because we are treated poorly by the managers. They put 10 bartenders on a shift when only about 5 are needed and then we have to split tips! Do your self a favor and go somewhere where you aren't going to get ripped off.

After being a bartender for a couple years I have learned a couple things about drinking at bars. Number one would have to be DONT EVER GO TO MULCAHYS. Their combination of NO BUY BACKS, the weakest drinks on Long Island, and managers with a GOD COMPLEX completes the trifecta making it the worst customer friendly bar in NY. So lets stop helpin them pay their rent and STOP GOING TO MULS.. They really need to be sent a message that they arent the only bar in the world and that they dont make the rules... the paying customers do. My hands r tied when i work and it sucks... I cant buy you a drink... so dont ask! I cant even have a comp list at the door... SO i CANT EVEN GET YOU IN FOR FREE...They wont think twice about charging you 10 bucks to get in only to find out you are one of five customers ( why do you think they never let you see in b4 you pay) The drinks are messured to be weak ON PURPOSE!!! Do everyone a favor and help put muls out of business. STOP GOING TO MULS.. Here I'll go first... I QUIT!

This place is unfortunately a dive. All the kids that work at the Burger King up the road go there after work. One night there I met this cool chick and then I had to go to the bathroom only to find a turd on the floor. I accidentally stepped in it and this chick kept saying to me...whats that awful smell !! I just kept saying..I dont know...I dont know....Needless to say the chick gave me her wrong phone number...thanks Mulcahys'
