Rhett Butler and Scarlett O'Hara wannabes are scant at Savannah, but you won't give a damn, frankly. Despite a new name recalling Southern belles and Dixie, the former singles mecca Chelsea Street retains the meet-market characteristics that made it one of Long Island's most popular clubs: theme nights, DJ-spun tunes and a dance floor large enough to contain the entire Confederate army. Live bands perform on Wednesday nights, while Fridays feature happy hour -- with a scrumptious spread of food -- and ladies night. ''Crazy, Sexy, Cool'' Saturday nights boast a free late-night breakfast buffet, so there's no need to refuel at the White Castle down the street. Elevate your clubbing experience with VIP reservations: Spy the action from a table above the dance floor or chill in the cozy VIP area with hostess and bottle service -- Jack Daniels or Southern Comfort could put you in an antebellum mood. Dress to impress -- but petticoats are not required.

Buyer Beware!!!!
By Galazee on 05/05/2008
Before going to Savannah Nite Club catch a big buzz in your car in the parking lot. For two shots of Citron the barmaid charged me $20.00. It seems that she doubled or perhaps tripled the price because they think they are hot **** and because they are jealous of the bartenders at Zachary's who make better tips. I already spent $150 on drinks, so I am not a cheap wad but someone who believes in the honor system and principles. If, it was Citron worth $20.00 for two shots then it must of been the best finest top shelf Citron in the World. Who the hell asked for that? I ask for the house wine at Zachary's and it taste better than $50-$100 bottles that I consumed in the past. As far as the male patrons watch out for these pencil-necked spinless whimps that cling on to pretty women because they know they can't score and they follow you and the babe to the bar, standing right behind the lady and when drinks are ordered, such as shots they sneak and drink it without either of us watching. This happen to me and it was luck for this ***** that 4 bouncers held me back from ripping his head from his shoulders. I complained, but because they did'nt see what happened and because he, the drunk ******** lied, I was asked to leave. It would be best that I never see this ******* again, for if I do he better be ready to face the music.

nasty bartender
By sramphal77 on 01/21/2008
so since when is it ok for bartenders to provoke customers by violently grabbing there drinks that they purchased from there hands along with the customers money. Isn't that provoking someone to get into a fight with them? How professional is that? Shouldn't they have someone else take care of that customer if they cant handle it or have management get involved should there be problem with the customer? All I know is that she wouldn't have done that had there not be security or if she was not "safely" behind the bar. By the way if money is being grabbed out of your hand after paying for your drinks, isn't that theft? And of course if the customer was to grab her and pull her over the bar and give her what she deserved the customer would get arrested. The male bartneders were great but the females are looking for trouble.I'm not sure if the way your bartender acted was the way they were trained by Savannah management or if that was just unprofessional.

nice time but:
By loquitadetony on 01/20/2008
The night was great... the music was great!!! but it was not great that I order a drink in a very nice voice to one of the female bartender just to get a drink that was a lot of juice not much vodka..ok I thought I could ask her nicely to fix it a little bit, but what I got??? this moddy woman grabing the drink out of my hand and trowing it away.. and keeping my money and ignoring me afterwards... (not nice huh)?? so just be careful.. if you go there don't go near the female drink server which has a mean face..and never smile.. oh by the way...at the end of the night I just wanted to say sorry if I was wrong and order one last drink...but guess what I've got?????????? she throw the whole napkins holder at my face and grabed my drink away again.... not nice isnt????????????????

amazing
By djrazorny on 07/21/2007
Savannah lounge is the best nightclub to hit on long island if your looking for a down to earth good time. The music is amazing...DJ Razor really knows how to mix it up from hip hop to house music and some classic rock mash-ups in between. The bartenders are smoking, the drinks are awesome, and the environment is comfortable. The crowd is a good mix not all club heads like the other clubs on long island. I have a great time there every time I go.
