Okay, you've got admit that there's something interesting about leather clothes (whether you're gay or straight), and where better to investigate tight-fitting cowskin than at the Long Island Eagle, which sounds like a nature club, but isn't. Don't worry if you've outgrown your chaps, chaps -- despite toting itself as Long Island's home for Levis, leather and uniforms, this is a bar for all types, from the young Greco-Roman beauty to those old enough to remember the fall of the empire. The bar is fabulously gay (which means beautifully decorated and super-friendly), with features like the antique boot-black stand, which gets a good scrubbing on the many charity nights that Eagle patrons take part in. There's also a patio in summer where you can get to know new friends, and an ATM with pool table.
