If you're nuts for beans, then you probably don't frequent the chain coffee shops, preferring to patronize independent coffee houses. Babylon Bean is definitely for coffee snobs, and boasts a large selection of coffees made the old-fashioned way. It's also convenient to the beach, which makes its conducive to picking up a sandwich or three. Although seating is fairly limited, most of the clients take out, which makes it fairly easy to secure a table -- which you should definitely do if you're staying for breakfast (bagels, muffins), lunch (wraps, sandwiches and the like) or a slice of pecan pie that was begging to be eaten the moment you walked in.
