Blue Parrot   

At the Blue Parrot, there's beer pong every Sunday night, and every Wednesday, it's funk and jam nights with the Bacon Strips -- a band that clearly spent all their time rehearsing and not worrying too much about their name. The Blue Parrot features live music every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday night. There's Karaoke on Thursday nights with renditions of everything from the classic to the obscure. The drinks are reasonably priced (which is good if you plan on listening to the karaoke singers), and the crowd is mostly local, or those who travel to hear the music. And if there isn't an award for Long Island's hottest bartenders, the Blue Parrot should invent it, as they'd probably win.
