Just look for the giant neon Hebrew National sign and you've arrived at the land of milk, honey and roasted chickens with two sides for under $13. Boomy's is more of a diner than a deli, and even has a loudspeaker to declare the status of your Thanksgiving wrap with sliced white meat turkey, stuffing and cranberry sauce. If life isn't worth living without a traditional liquid meal, then be sure to check out the daily soup menu as you schlep through the brushed chrome door. The booths are comfy and private, so your grandmother can yell at you without the usual embarrassment. However, order her a bowl of hot, homemade split pea soup (cooked fresh every Tuesday and Thursday) and she'll have nothing but good things to say.
