If you can't do it at Buckley's Inn Between, you probably shouldn't be doing it at all. With several different nights from karaoke on Wednesdays, ladies night on Thursdays and baseball on Saturdays, Buckley's offers much more than corned beef and Guinness --which is on tap along with Harp, Bass and Smithwick's. There's definitely a family atmosphere during daytime. The food is a mix of Irish and American, with specialties such as bangers and mash, which uses real Irish sausage and is served with homemade mashed potatoes and topped with brown gravy. Along with other Emerald Isle specials, there's also a selection of pastas and burgers. With a late-night bar crowd, big screen TV and a dartboard, every night is a 'good crack,' especially in the summer. The Sunday brunch with black and white pudding is a must for any homesick Irish.

I MAY BE AN OLD MAN BUT..
By greenwatersb on 05/16/2006
I may be an old man who has an occasional pint or three or four at my local favorite Buckley's, but when I am there I know the daytime bartender is genuinely happy to see me stop in. Being an old man I am looked at as a pest or a burden Buckley's is the one place I feel welcome and wanted. I also have to add that I was reading the reviews on this site, and I would like to say that I can see right threw that negetive review posted. If local restaurants feel the need to plug their establishments by knocking down your fellow competitors and making up obvious B.S. then maybe they should spend more time improving their business ethics they might actually benefit from it. So no matter what you are looking for Buckley's will fulfill your expectations.

I AM AMAZED
By crazydowager on 05/16/2006
Having been my first visit to the much talked about Hamptons I feel inclined to express my experience. I am an editor for a high end magazine which leaves me little or no time to play. I checked out a few local restaurants and felt like a stranger in all except Buckley's Inn Between. From the second I walked in the door they treated me like they knew me my entire life. I dont even feel that welcome in my own home!! I then sat at a booth and ordered what was the most incredible burger I ever had. Variety is the spice of life. Buckley's has the menu to support that statement. Irish specialties, daily specials, fresh seafood, delectable meat, and even a kids menu. I would also like to add the woman at the table next to me was vegetarian and the cook went out of his way, on a busy night mind you, to whip up a delicious looking entree just for her. Now if that does not say hospitality then you still don't know whether to scratch your watch or wind your ass ! Warm People , atmosphere, and great food. Oh and I also came back for Karoke they had on Wed night, and I met Jack Black. If a celebrity like Jack Black goes there to unwind and feel at home I would say that is the cream on top of this wonderful Place. - Ms. Jacinda Waters

Excellent Time and Service
By guinnessjoker on 04/26/2006
This place is a gem.The food was outstanding, steaks were cooked just the way we ordered, the chicken pot pie was delicious but needs a little time to cool, the rest of the menu had plenty of seafood , pasta and Irish traditional items too,and the beer of course was probably one of the best pints I've had since I was in Ireland last, no kidding. The staff were extremly helpful and friendly and good looking may I say. The restaurant was very busy when we eat, but sufficiently staffed so we waited for nothing. The pricing was very reasonable for our portions and considering the Hamptons prices we are all used to.The bar was filling up with a nice mix of people and Irish accoustic music was begining. It is very tastefully decorated not too much Irish nick nack colectables, and a beautifully finished mohogany bar. There were Irish Sports on Tv in the bar, Gaelic football, Hurling, (I was told what it was called) Thanks and I know I'll be a regular anytime I go to Hampton Bays.
