Whichever rock 'n' roll band said you can't always get what you want, obviously had never heard of Island Fish -- which may be the only place in the world where you really can get what you want, as long as it was born in the sea and lived there for a little while. This fish joint not only sells fresh raw fish such as tilapia, salmon, sea bass and flounder, but they'll even grill or saute it for you, and if you like, lay it in a basket with some French fries. If you're having friends over for dinner and don't know the first thing about cooking lobster tails or shrimp, Island Fish is a dream come true, and the prices are fabulous. If you love fish, don't miss this one.

It's off the hook 2...
The drive to "Island Seafood" for me is two hours short - I drive down from Katonah, NY and it is worth every mile of the drive. The chef, service and staff will make your trip - from anywhere - worthwhile. I highly recommend any dish that comes out of this restaurants' kitchen. Try it and taste for yourself - if you do - you will also get HOOKED. My regards to Frank, their chef.
Amazing Revelation
I always thought the best tasting seafood restaurants were right on the seashore until I happened on this place. It's small and nondescript, but wow, the flavors and the staff are stupendous. EVERYTHING is fresh, nothing frozen here, and the owners and their staff do everything to make one feel comfortable and truly enjoy whatever is being served.
The prices are astoundingly moderate for this area and one does not feel as though he/she is being ripped off, as happens so often in places like this.
I heartily recommend Island Fish for families as well as individuals, and they will happily prepare dishes to take home as well as serving on premises without busting your budget.

Great find! - Great food! Great people!... truly passionate about what they do - always creating something new - love to walk in just as something is coming out of the kitchen - ah- the aroma! ...and of course the sample tastings! .... worth the extra ride - hooked!
