It's friendly, jolly, there's beer and on weekends you can hear live music -- that's right, it's another Irish bar. Jackie Reilly's, however, is truly Irish, as you'll discover when you order a 12 oz. Gaelic steak served in a whiskey cream sauce with shallots, mushrooms and tomatoes. If you're an ex-pat, you'll find it hard to beat the bangers 'n mash, which consists of real Irish sausages under a blanket of onions, gravy and mashed potatoes. Tuesday night is Irish night, with live Irish entertainment, a special Irish dinner, and $4 pints of Guinness, Smithwicks and Harp. Don't worry about a cover charge, because entry is always free -- even when there's music. It doesn't get better than that when you're a few thousand miles from the Emerald Isle.

Absolutely one of the Best.

I've been going there for years. I live on the North Shore by Sea Cliff, & am done with all the bars around there. I travel out of my way to get there. Jackie Reilly's is by far one of the best place to go on Long Island. LIve bands on weekends (no cover), excellent bartenders, great food (the best wings ever), etc...... You won't be disappointed........................

This is a very authentic Irish Pub with great food and some fantastic Irish music on Tuesday nights. Great place to relax and have a black and tan with a couple friends.

not bad

Free entry with a band is a plus. Wish the bartenders had more personality, they get your drink and walk away or look at themselves in the mirror. Restrooms never have paper towels..
