There aren't many restaurants this far from the equator where parrots sit coyly above diners on small trapezes, and where one wall of the restaurant truly looks like it's being taken over by a jungle. Of course, the parrots aren't real, but they add to the exotic fun of this extravagantly decorated eatery. Diners enter the restaurant by crossing a bridge, under which babble two little waterfalls. The rain-forest vegetation is an imaginative touch the kids will appreciate, perhaps to the point of distraction. Food wise, the Laguna Grille is a mix of South American cuisines, with entrees such as seafood enchiladas with two flour tortillas stuffed with shrimp, scallops and sea bass, in a smoky tomato sauce with cheese and fiesta rice. There's a also a long list of wraps, salads and sandwiches that can be served with fries or salad, and the kids menu is an excellent value with several choices. But this is primarily an adult restaurant that kids can appreciate while parents sip on a mojito or a margarita.
