Lily Flanagan's   

During the night, have never been to a place as racist as Lily Flanagan's. I was turned away because I had a t-shirt on...(it was a nice shirt though) friend had a button up shirt in his car, so I went and got it and changed. We go in and I see tons of people with t shirts on, some with shorts on, and even flip flops! I'am hispanic but dress just like the crowd at the pub. Went to the pub once again last night and friend was turned away because they said they had a problem with him last week, my friend got here a couple of days ago, he is just up here visiting from North Carolina. He is hispanic as well but looked more like the gotti type than hispanic so i was surprised, they asked to see his ID before we got to the door guess they just wanted to confirm it wasn't an italian name or something. Just makes me sick been there so many times and never had a problem until recently.

The place is overcrowded and ridiculously loud, particularly on Friday night. If I were a 16-year old girl looking to not get carded, I might consider this place, but it is full of a bunch of meathead losers. The guys who go in their look like they've just evolved out of the swamps and the girls are a few singles away from being strippers.

The dress code and the area bring out certain type of people, usually the typical tough guy. The facility is extremely racist, trust me as I was a Valet at the establishment. The bouncers are really nice guys but they are receiving their orders from some very racist managers, some right of the boat from Ireland. I have seen many minorities turned away dressed in the same attire as an invisible white crowd and turned away. This establishment is a disgrace to the Long Island as it continues to reinforce stereotypes that we are trying to dispell.

Ha- we found a digital camera there and when we looked at the pictures they were of the camera owners sweet 16 - a year and a half ago!!!! This is the place to go for the youngins.
