Lotus East Chinese Restaurant   

If you've ever wanted to learn Chinese, Lotus East is place to do it, as the menu is bilingual. Enter the dark red dining room through glass doors, and you'll find live crustaceans ogling you from their temporary lodgings. If the lobsters do give you a nasty look, you can order them cooked Cantonese-style. However, if the thought of interacting with supper isn't quite your cup of jasmine tea, go with the steamed salmon with ginger and scallion sauce or have that salmon stir-fried crispy-salty style, with a glass of Tsing-Tao beer. Lotus East touts itself as a more distinguished place to enjoy Chinese food, and judging from the staff, immaculately presented in tuxedos, and all the high-thread-count linen, they may be telling the truth.
