Rate and Write a Review Although known as The Jon Thomas Inne for almost 30 years, this place first opened its doors in 1925 as a summer lodge owned and operated by a famous ballroom dancing couple. There isn't much dancing anymore, but there's still plenty of eating, and the menu at this historic Long Island eating house is vast. You can start off with a bloomin' onion or the goulash special, though you may want to skip the appetizers altogether and head straight broiled pork chops, or the chicken Nantucket, which is slowly sauteed with sea scallops, bacon, mushrooms and cognac in a rich brown sauce. If that's not exotic enough for you, then you've got to go for the bison burger, which is apparently the heaviest land animal in North America.

dont waste your time
bad food, surly waitstaff, long wait for service, food no better than your average greasy spoon diner, but about twice as pricey
haha
The guy that works here or used to work here, big fat guy with a beard, young guy, wears a kilt. Bill Nardone is his name. Big fat emo loser. I wouldn't eat there as long as that guy worked there. What a dirty fat bastard.
Great steaks and burgers
I go here often, suggest french onion soup, followed by veal al la
Jon Thomas, or Jack Daniels steak
