Sundays used to be family day. You'd pack the kids into the car, load up the homemade casserole and head over to join kith and kin for a leisurely afternoon meal. Ciao Baby tries to bring a little bit of that family-day style back to the dining experience with classic Italian fare and attentive service. The waitstaff will tell you about any of the specials in great detail, and if there's something you don't see on the menu that you'd like, the kitchen will do what it can to fill your request. Not to worry, though -- the menu has plenty from which to choose without your having to reach into the depths of your own imagination. For the devoted carnivore, there's the deluxe meat platter, starring meatballs, spicy sausage and braciola.. The prices aren't pizza-parlor cheap -- you'll be paying for that supersize portion. While you dine, you'll be regaled with a background soundtrack that sounds suspiciously like Mob Hits and there are always Italian actoras in the movies that play continuously on the televisions scattered around the dining area.
