You find a restaurant you like. You patronize it frequently. But after several visits, you're no longer in the mood to eat there. The reason: menu fatigue. This condition is unlikely to grip diners at Four Food Studio and Cocktail Salon, where the menu changes every 13 weeks and features local and seasonal ingredients. Chef Robert Gurvich's resume includes stints at Daniel and Alison on Dominick -- two of New York City's best. No matter the time of year, you can experience all four seasons in one visit via the decor: Enter the restaurant through a ''spring lounge,'' traipse through a ''summer bar'' (with a giant video projection screen) and wood-lined ''autumn'' dining area, and finally into the winter-themed, fireplace-warmed ''igloo.'' For the white-collar crowd toiling along the culinary wasteland that is the Route 110 commercial corridor south of the Expressway, Four is a welcome alternative to the cafeteria in the Huntington Quadrangle and Sbarro corporate offices.

excellent, fun for everyone

Trendy but lacks Quality

I enjoy the style of FOUR and have eaten and gone for drinks there many times, but the food really lacks quality especially if you're going to charge city prices. There are a couple items which they do well (lobster mashed potatoes is one of them) but overall they really need to improve there quality. And also i doubt they put any thought into the acoustics of the place since even when it's empty it gets loud in there. LI definitely needs more places like FOUR and I hope some pop up but they really need to get a chef over there that knows how to cook.

After reading half of these reviews I feel like slapping someone! This place is for a crowd that like's nice atmosphere and good music & good food & great drinks & pretty people. Everyone keeps complaining its too loud! Stay home!! All the bartenders are adorable and are there to make $ not serve annoying people who complain about the price of their drink! I love 4 and monday nights are called industry nights for a reason....
