Not your traditional Mexican restaurant, Rudopho's is a Silverlake institution that transitions between daytime eatery and nighttime hotspot. On the outskirts of Silverlake, this family-operated business offers a club venue most weekend nights. Once the host of Dragstrip 66, the club offers a large indoor area complete with full bar, dance floor, DJ booth and stage. The stage is used as a platform for drag and other reviews. It also boasts a lounge area, a courtyard for smoking and a large outdoor patio utilized throughout the year that also boasts its own bar. During peak events the club is packed with dancers and thrill seekers enjoying everything from Latin to hip-hop. A flavorful club that shouldn't be judged by a simple drive, Rudolpho's features one of the best club venues in LA and a pretty good taco. -- Michael Martin
