The Scene Opposite nightlife worlds collide on the small stretch of Sunset Boulevard between the Laugh Factory and Crescent Heights. On one side of Greenblatt's Delicatessen smokers spill off the curb outside the Laugh Factory, while on the other side occasional and cluelessly overdone velvet-rope climbers cling to hopes of popping into Hyde Lounge, an A-listful collaboration from Sam Nazarian and Brent Bolthouse. In the former space of the celeb nook North, the earthy-chic lounge is simply too cozy to be too generous with its guest list. The patch of red carpet that fits on its streetfront is a quilting scrap you could mistake for one of the wads of Nicorette that the Laugh Factorians so kindly smacked down to give your soles that extra lift.
