A vacation to Palm Springs should not include headaches. Keep cool, don't double-bogey and stay at Super 8. It's an affordable place to lodge that's convenient to the world of shopping in downtown Palm Springs, numerous visitor attractions and, of course, golf. There's a great pool, a free continental breakfast and they'll even give you a free eight-minute long distance call with each paid night so that you can regale your friends and family with tales of great meals and even better golf scores. -- Denise Fondo
