Located between Westwood Village and the Santa Monica Pier, the hotel has 122 large rooms (some deluxe and mini-suites). Amenities include refrigerators, hairdryers, data ports, and movies- on-demand (some rooms have sofas, desks and balconies). For the business traveler, there are meeting and banquet facilities, same day laundry services and a fitness room. For the vacationer, there are garden balconies and sundecks. The hotel also offers local shuttle service to the beach and the Third Street Promenade plus daily sightseeing tours. And for the kids, Nintendo is available. The hotels restaurant is an IHOP which provides 24-hour room service. The Gateway does not have a pool. -- Cathy Tamkin

NICE PLACE FOR THE MONEY
MY WIFE AND I STAYED HERE IN JUNE 2002.WE HAD A LARGE CLEAN ROOM. THE FRONT DESK EMPLOYEES WERE NICE AND HELPFUL. IF WE GO BACK TO SANTA MONICA, WE WOULD STAY HERE AGAIN.
