Awesome food!!
How do I start! I moved to LA from London and could not find a single Indian restaurant which met the high standards of a classic balti restaurant. Until...of course, I came across Bombay Palace! The food was awesome! Their lamb chops even beat the best of the best back home. Try their Achari Lamb - spicy!! Goes down well with Mango Lassi.
Highly recommended - you have GOT TO try this place out. Service and ambience is great too.
Finger Licking Good!!!
If you are looking for great Indian food, this is the place. The tandoori platter is fabulous, the spicy lamb curry with onion kulcha is to die for, and the authentic Indian deserts round off the wonderful culinery experience. Kudos to the courteous and attentive staff for making it such a great experience.
Bad, very bad!!!
Well, I've dined here twice (in a 4 year period). The food is comparable to Gaylord (down the street at Wilshire and much more professional). Well, let's not get into food- the issue here is dining experience...don't get me wrong, we're all into the food of course. This establishment have many chances. The staff is so unpro, you couldn't train them...it's just their nature. I closely observe their behaviour towards others & it seems there's envy among them! Very unprofessional! Horrible Attitude and Service
I recently dined at Bombay Palace and experienced the most horrible attitude and service. I asked the waitress for a glass of sparkling water with my dinner. My guest and I were absolutely shocked when I was charged $6.50 for the sparkling water. We were even more shocked when the waitress's response was "This is America, we can charge whatever we want." I will never go back there again. Try Bombay Cafe on Pico instead.
