Youre graciously welcomed by innkeepers Heather and/or Christine at this historic B&B built in 1910. It's located a few feet from the beach and just a short drive to the attractions, shopping and dining of Santa Monica. LAX is just 10 miles away and fine dining is within walking distance. Each room is individually and tastefully decorated and has a private bath. Some suites have views, decks, jacuzzis and/or fireplaces. Every room has a telephone, data port, cable TV and VCR. They also have top quality linens, robes and bubble bath. A full complimentary breakfast is included, which guests can have in their rooms or in the breakfast room. Also included is afternoon tea, wine and hors d'oeuvres, which guests can enjoy in the library and/or living room. Bicycles are available for use on the 30-mile bike path just out the front door. Children are welcome, but neither smoking nor pets are allowed. Room rates vary and there's a 72 hour cancellation fee. -- Cathy Tamkin
