The fame of this Hollywood landmark is probably only second to that of Mann's Chinese Theater -- and it'll be moving soon to a new building next-door to Mann's. The famed shockingly purple flagship building with pink awnings is the place for risque lingerie. Surprisingly, most of the merchandise here is more tacky and suggestive than kinky, and the adorable saleswomen are quite unlike the lithe, corset-clad creatures you'll find at Trashy Lingerie. Also surprising is that many well-heeled women frequent Frederick's to purchase undergarments in sizes and styles that simply aren't available in department stores or other lingerie shops.
