Anchored on the western end of the Walk of Fame, Garden of Eden is a sanctuary of Tinseltown nightlife that has indulged patrons for more than three generations. The authentic supper and dance club is set in a decadently tropical atmosphere of Spanish beaux arts architecture, with robust columns supporting the arched ceilings of the two-story club. Elegant lounge areas surround the main dance floor and bar downstairs, while the second floor offers an additional dining area as well as a separate bar that's easier to access and often far less frequented than its first-floor counterpart. An elaborate outdoor patio is also equipped for dining, and an additional bar accommodates busier events. The Garden of Eden's full kitchen bursts with flavors of California and continental cuisine ranging from the classic New York steak to fresh seafood selections. But most come for the nightlife, including the likes of P. Diddy and Lil' Kim, who have lounged, danced and passed the night away with the finest of LA social culture. Catering to the wide array of LA tastes, the club hosts anything from popular hip-hop and house nights from top-notch promoters to more classic nights of elegant jazz and soul. Possessing a star-packed history that spans from Ziegfeld to Jay-Z, Garden of Eden is a legend all its own that continues to thrill Hollywood's nighttime elite.

Wack Dizzle
By jkeyz25 on 02/02/2005
The athomsphere was straight, but after waiting outside for no apparant reason, by the time I got in I was too upset to enjoy myself. So after spending too much money on a drink, I sat around and watched everybody try to act "hollywood" lol. It's amusing. People try so hard to fit in with people that could care less about you. But back to the garden, people need to get off this velvet rope crap and get real. You give a bouncer a little bit of power, and he thinks he's secretary of defense for the US. Anybody know where I can get some REAL people that know how to have a good time, even if they're aren't any "stars" there to kiss butt to...holla at the kid from St. Louis

This club is ranked at #1 but yet the user reviews are all bad experiences. How does that make any sense?

Blow Me Eden
By anachavezbmw on 10/18/2004
This is the worst club experience I've ever had! The bouncer had me and 3 of my hot girlfriends stand out in the rain, and when he did let us get thru, he made me pay even though I was on the VIP list along with the rest of my friends. Once inside, we had to wait almost 15 minutes at the bar because there was only one bartender and she was new, so she didn't make my drink right and it tasted so bad, I threw it out. What made me even more mad, was that I payed $12- for a martini that was so small, I would've been able to drink it in one gulp. The dance floor was extremely crowded; the DJ repeated a lot of songs; and every girl in there looked like a Barbie doll made of plastic with their big fake boobs, jumbo collagen-injected lips, and bad nose jobs. This club is way overrated, and it was not worth $20. My friends and I will never go back. It's a shame such a beautiful place is made so unappealing by the staff AND the people who attend.
