In ShortDespite an extensive "Hollywood" makeover, this hotel bar isn't the Valley's version of Skybar or the Standard. It does, however, offer cheap drinks, friendly staff, tasty appetizers and exotic cocktails. The remodeled interior has a modern sensibility: tinted mirrors, flat-screen televisions and stretched-out booths. The outdoor patio is spacious, and a makeshift dance floor appears on the weekends when blue-haired conventioneers and buttoned-up business travelers give way to local partygoers.
