Chef Josiah Citrin's 10 course signature dish Tasting Menu was such a success in celebrating our 10-year Anniversary in July, that we've decided to keep the menu available for the rest of the year. The menu will change slightly throughout the year based on the season. We look forward to seeing you here at Melisse.

It was with some trepidation that I dined at Melisse, given the negative reviews written by other patrons. However, my experience at Melisse was superb. My family and I frequent fine restaurants, and so I have a lot to compare Melisse to. The service was precise, yet friendly and completely unpretentious. The menu was a fresh take on the classics--not as stuffy and boring as traditional French cuisine, which I find a bit old-fashioned and obsolete for today's tastes. I recommend the Chestnut Soup or Peekytoe Crab appetizers. The Dover sole entree was stunning as well. Overall, if you can appreciate the subtle perfection of a fine restaurant that's not trying to razzle dazzle or be something it is not, this is the place.
