Lasso yourself a hottie at Oil Can Harry's, the premier alternative country western bar and dance club in Los Angeles, featuring a weekly lineup of dancing and social activities. Inside the saloon-style hall, a small bar overlooks a wood-planked dance floor with a Wild West design. Various dance nights pack 'em in for country and mainstream music, and an additional bar and billiards area flanks the rear of the club, where lines gather to see the newest pool shark and hustler in town. If you're a bit rusty on your Texas two-step, take advantage of the bar's dance lessons and line dances, or time travel in the name of diversity at '70s and '80s retro disco tributes that have the cowboys leaving their hats at home. This is by far the greatest gay night club in LA. There drinks are great and at prices from the 80's. The staff is friendly and the customers have no attitude. Thanks for keeping the gay bars alive and well. See you soon

Retro Vacuum

I loved the bar but the retro music is in a vacuum. It's the same old predictable stuff. People can dance to FUNK music as well as retro disco. I believe the talent of the DJ is to use his experience and taste to serve those of us who love to dance, however I believe many have fallen into a pseudo-self confidence and get stuck. Too bad.

Totally the bomb

We lived in L.A. for 18 years, about 16 years ago, We are a many gay friends who inteuduced us to the Queen Mary and OCH, We all went to OCH every Sat night. IT was the best bar we were went to. We missed it so much. Nothing like the laid back and fun attitue there. We will be movnign back to Encino soon, and can't wait to start spending out Sat nites there again. We met the VERY BEST people. Hope you all are still there. See ya soon. So Flo is a drag (and not in a good way)!
