Rage is the nightlife destination of choice when visiting West Hollywood. A large dance club tucked into the heart of Santa Monica Boulevard's gay district, the club is divided into two floors. Offering two full bars, visitors can choose between ordering their drinks from the main floor or the balcony location. The crowd consists of buffed gym rats who shed their shirts even in the midst of winter and perpetual club kids who rotate between the bar and patio in search of prey. During the week the club offers various promotions and themes that include a drag revue, college night, and weekly tea dance in addition to a nightly happy hour. While weekends guarantee a line as well as a packed house, most weeknights offer various themes that offer equal amounts of fun minus the heavy entrance fee and crowds. The best DJ they ever had at Rage was Monty Monroe and they fired him when he got into it with one of the nelly managers. His music was flawless and he never missed abeat when mixing. To bad he gave up spinning.

3-4-06 Sat night at the club wasent something i would call memorable. First off when did rage start charging 15 bucks to get in?? i have went a few times on a sat night and usually its 10 which is crazy for that kind of place. not even tigerheat charges 15 bucks. but i guess its the tigherheat of the saturday night....no cute guys except for a few here and there, the drinks i will say are okay for ten bucks a pop, but i guess its expected for um west hollywood... but all in all it was a bad time.. im sure someone will read this and say oh its some ugly bitch who didnt have a good time well because he was ugly.. well im not saying im a lil hottie but im not the ugliest person, but who cares about that ...the night was bad. bring back VARSITY!!!!..haa good night everyone!

My fav. club. I always get hit up by cute boys and its the first club i went to when i came out of the closet. I got kicked out a couple times for underage drinking but thats alright. I still go back.
