not exspencive and pleasent

The brunch menu at Rick's was exactly what the doctor ordered for we four ladies fueling up before the Coachella Festival. We loved it so much we went back for brunch on day two, too. The strawberry-stuffed french toast was to die for, as were the blueberry pancakes, and the more standard egg orders. The veggie among us had lots to choose from, and was equally happy with her orders. The service was friendly and the ample seating for those waiting for tables made it homey. You better believe I'll be back at Rick's fuelling up for Coachella again, next year.

The food at Rick's is ok. What is memorable about this place is how dirty it is. The booths are broken down and filthy. Look up when you are there and see the ceiling falling in and water stained. If the owner would clean it up, it would be an ok place to eat. Service is so-so. Becky the Manager is great.

The food is good but the service is slooooooow. Lots of Boyz to look at so that makes the wait a little more tolerable. Weekends are a nightmare for breakfast/lunch the wait to get seated can be up to an hour.
