First, I believe it is an establishment’s responsibility to discourage drunk driving and binge drinking. However, at Roosterfish a viciously patronizing bartender Lisa (a.k.a. Barbara) was instead encouraging, demanding, and pressuring designated drivers to buy drinks or get out of his bar. I thought there would be something refreshing about a non-WEHO bar experience. Unfortunately Lisa only presented what I fear most an outdated personification of the gay male. Listen, what business owner in their right mind would stand for excluding and discriminating against female customers? Yes, we bought drinks, which would total to around eighty dollars and we tipped. I was there Friday September 29th with five of my friends of which the only local was the young lady with us. She was harassed and verbally assaulted during our time there something I cannot appreciate or condone on any level. Therefore the rest of us "WEHO" gay gentleman will return back to our usual haunts were woman are allowed and accepted to participate in our gay games! Sure, you might not think this review will NOT do much to stop your regular customers, and it might not in the short term. However, we will post our distain for your bar and it’s atrocious customer service on every website, travel guide, and better business opportunity we have available. Additionally, the best tool we have: word-of-mouth.

GONE NOW ARE THE GREAT PLACES LIKE: BIG BROTHERS', THAT WAS ON THIS STREET MANY YEARS AGO- AND NOT FAR AWAY WAS THE JADE TIKI , NOW THESE WERE THE PLACES TO GO TO MEET FRIENDS, SHOOT POOL, AND DO SOME DANCING. FOLKS THAT HUNG IN THESE PLACES ARE STILL FRIENDS- 37 YEARS LATER. EVEN THOUGH WE ARE NOW IN DIFFERENT PARTS OF THE COUNTRY, WE'RE STILL IN TOUCH. I WOULDN'T CHANGE THOSE DAYS FOR THE WORLD! .

occasionally i will be a winggirl with my beautiful boyz on the westside. cockfish (lol)i actually have fun at and feel welcomed not just tolerated. drinks are cheap and the scenery is quite lovely..im talkin about the boys..the bar itsself reminds me of the bars on bourbon and on frenchman street in Nola . straight or gay, youll have fun here.

Love the place... I laughed I cried it was better than "Cats!" Great neighborhood bar, hot guys, stiff drinks, enuf said!!
