The creators of Koi didn't look further than across the street to hatch their follow-up to the popular pan-Asian destination. Perhaps that's why it's called Bridge. Feeling like a New York supper club with a slight '70s touch, Bridge may be tough to spot while driving La Cienega Boulevard, but it's presence is unmistakable once you walk in and see the spectacle of design underneath tall ceilings, where artistic wood furnishings, wall-mounted rings and spherical chandeliers abound. One thing is certain: Bridge no doubt has a flair for drama. From its visual opulence to its culinary elegance, it's a 'wow' type of place, which is why you're bound to see celebrities losing themselves in the gigantic bar space or inside a high-backed booth on the patio. The food is excellent with pasta, beef and fish dishes topping off a predominantly Italian menu -- and it's all prepared as elegantly as the interior. Also impressive is their 65-page wine list with over 2,000 selections and maps of the countries/regions pinpointing the wine's origin.
