This small boutique hotel prides itself in being the only lodging spot directly on Rodeo Drive. Tucked in the heart of Beverly Hills, across the street from Gucci and Ferragamo and down the street from Cartier, this hotel has continental European ambiance at an affordable price. The ability to wake up and walk out the door to the surrounding bakeries, shops and restaurants makes it a real value. The rooms surround an interior courtyard, and each is equipped with all the conveniences of its 5-star competitors. The lobby features an intimate bar as well as a terrace restaurant in the courtyard. Shuttle service is available to its Bel-Air location, which offers tennis, pool, gym, and spa facilities. The Summit Hotel is a great way to afford Beverly Hills without a Beverly Hills-sized budget. -- Michael Martin
