The SceneYou don't need Irish eyes to be smiling at this peppy and popular Toluca Lake version of "Cheers," where everyone not only knows your name, but your drink as well. This charming Emerald Isle pub is a favorite hang for "Tolucans" and industry types from the nearby film studios. The narrow, main room features an elongated bar, with TVs at every angle. A jukebox plays everything from Van Morrison to modern rock. Upstairs, there's an expansive dining area, which offers a full menu and a family-friendly vibe. The DrawThe laid back, yet jovial ambience draws the likes of Freddy Prinze Jr., Woody Harrelson and Keanu Reeves, who can be seen among the crowd for Laker games or the weekday happy hours. Also known for its innovative take on pub food, the scrumptious menu is highlighted by a mouth-watering Reuben sandwich and Irish nachos.

I liked it all the times I had been there befor but that just were not capable of handling the crowd thay let in on St pats. And thay had the balls to charge $5 at the door. With the exseption of our waiter all the staff was rude and so were the people there.

GetFuqt reviews Timmy Nolans

It's a hard place to find, but once you do, it's worth it. Hidden on the quiet streets of Burbank, "Timmy Nolan's" is a pub with a ton of personality to make up for it's shortcomings. The drinks are well priced, and the bar downstairs is the ideal place for sporting events. The atmosphere DOWNSTAIRS is warm and inviting, but I can't say the same about the desolate upstairs. It feels like the owner ran out of money making the downstairs charming, and bought ripped, used furniture for the upstairs so he could afford the HDTV's. Completely away from the downstairs action, the upstairs does have it's own bar, but with that bar comes easily the most obnoxious, irritating bartender I have ever come across in all my years of countless Los Angeles bars and clubs. I don't know where they found him, maybe he had just been released from the Betty Ford clinic and I was only witnessing heroin withdrawal, I would understand that. Sarcastic, lazy, obnoxious, unprofessional, my group had to hold each other back from breaking our bottles over his head. The only thing that stopped one of my friends, a former marine, from throwing this hell spawn down the stairs was the fact I like Timmy Nolans, and would like to come back. The only time I can recommend the upstairs is if it's too cold to stand outside and the downstairs is standing room only, it's only function is overflow. Aside from Damien the bartender and the defunct upstairs, Timmy Nolan's is a great local pub for the alcoholics in all of us. Keep an eye on a bartender with a dumb bracelet, if you see it, do whatever it takes to make it downstairs.

A really nice small tavern. It has a friendly fun atmosphere, and if you're close to home, its easy to get plastered and just walk!

"NORM!" says it all about Timmy's - our favorite hangout. Granted we've been there so many times, it would be ridiculous for the staff not to know us, but I'm continually impressed by their familiarity with all the customers and their drinks. Customers fit right in whether you're dolled up for a Hollywood night out or in your weekend casual attire. It's a great place to have a casual night out with friends, take a date and meet new people. Us "Tolucans" (and beyond) love our "Timmy's".
